I showed some samples of what I was working on last week on FB. Got them done and here we have some new surfaces to play with either with metal embossing as shown on the shrines, Verday Paints, spray paint and all things mixed media. (This doll would look really cool in it's own metal house that we are teaching as an online class. See previous posts.)
Love this Steampunk Santos Doll Kit. I used my VerDay Paints of course, some spray paint on the wings, and wrapped the body in ribbon. This kit is perfect for adding all sorts of other "stuff you have hanging around the house and comes in two sizes 8.75" (small) and 11" (medium). Love these.
If you know me, you know how I love shrines. I've got two designs to choose from and it will be hard to decide which one to do first. This one I spray painted the base with silver paint and then embossed the front with our metal and one of our Big Daddy molds (Bingo/Pow). What a great opening for mementos.
This is probably one of my favorites of the shrines. I sprayed the base and back with black paint, then embossed metal and painted it with a creamy white paint for a cool two color look. Both shrines stand about 11" tall and are perfect for using all your ephemera and treasures. We have a limited quantity and they are up on our site right now.
Love the metal on those shrines. Off to order.
