That's right you can win $950 worth of cool products by just leaving a comment on what your next craft project is going to be. People make a good comment. Cathie will go to all the blogs and check out what comments people have made. So don't just say I want to win...everyone wants to win something. Post something about what you want to make with everything you win. Of course you could win our VerDay Paints from us. Check out all the other prizes here. (I tried posting everything here and it kept getting deleted) Post a comment here and then go to the other blogs and post something there for more chances.
Don't forget to watch the last two shows on TLC tomorrow night. That's right they are showing two new shows tomorrow night. I know some have posted comments that they don't like the show or think it's not crafty enough...well suck it up. This summer is full of reruns and you can watch one show about crafting and it won't kill you. You know I say that with love! Don't forget to post a comment.
My next major project is to do an alphabet wall in my craft/spare bed room...the wall behind the bed is rough barnboard and I have been collecting various sized and style letters to alter all summer...I know there is some metal going on some of those letters!

I'm currently reorganizing my craft room, so I'm working on stuff to decorate it. I'm borrowing my mother's VerDay to do some frames so that I can use them for message/inspiration boards. I am also doing a couple wood frames with metal accents like flowers and flourishes.

OMG, I am awestruck over the VerDay Paints (watched on YouTube). How did I not hear about this sooner??? Absolutely, Positively "Slicker than Snot" LOL!!! Oh my goodness, it would be easier to answer what I couldn't create with the entire grand prize loot. I would love to play with the mod podge, podgeables, and those beautiful crystals. But how can you resist all that glitter, too??? I was planning to alter an old candy/gumball machine the hubby brought home with some Spray Paint, originally. Now, I think the VerDay paint would be perfect to give it a cohesive look since it is metal, plastic and plexiglass. Can't wait to watch more YouTube videos and I already became a new subscriber!

I would love to have VerDay and make frames and other decorations to give to all the domestic violence shelters and shelters for INNVISION which is temporary shelter for homeless families. I was also thinking of taking the products I win and have a craft day with the mothers and children in the shelters. This would be great way to have some quality material for great craft projects.

Prizes galore, what a chance to win. I've been watching Craft Wars, and I get warn out just watching. For me personally, I could never do that, altho I love a challenge, that is stress! lol My next big craft project is decorating the one big wall in our great room, we shoveled out the tropical and are going contemporary...few old pieces and lots of homemade framed art and letters on the wall. Think TSS metal, old clocks and steampunk along with vintage family photos.

The verday paints are awesome!... Ive used them on frames, wood boxes, and resin... always fun and amazing results. I like craft wars... think it is highly entertaining. Hard to say what my next crafty project will be... I have a long list of stuff tucked back in my thoughts. LOL I know some card designs for sure for my DT work. :o) I want to alter an old wood tool caddy to use as a holder on my craft table. I want to make some copper twirly things to hang from my screen porch ceiling too. I still think your show was the best and I've watched 'em all!

I picked up a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Configurations Print Tray to alter at Michael's a few days ago and I am going to alter it using paper, paints, VerDay, and all sorts of fun bling and stuff. I originally thought to give it a holiday theme since it is going to be a holiday gift but now I am thinking how about 1-18 years for on of my children. Maybe Halloween or Christmas or Back to school pics etc. I don't know...will have to work it out and get it done. okienurse

"I want to win!"
Hee hee!
But seriously, I would like to create a Day of the Dead Shrine in the courtyard of our store. Maybe with a HUGE sugar skull with a slot in its mouth where wishes and thoughts can be inserted... or maybe branches to tie on different ideas and thoughts. I want to make it fun, colorful and interactive!

I thought Craft Wars rocked! Especially your episode of course! I make all my Christmas presents and would love to win an amazing stash from Michael's, especially as they get a big chunk of my weekly income anyway, LOL! I knit, make jewelry, and stamp and alter items for gifts. In addition, I run an Alice in Wonderland themed challenge blog called "The Altered Alice" http://alteredalice.blogspot.com and we're up to almost 600 readers, so I love making and altering all things Alice!

Jingle bells, jingle bells....I am starting my Christmas gift crafting. Altered books with Verdayed (?) covers, metal elements, stamping, maybe some Arty Farty fibers (as soon as I get some).
Posted by: Carol Johnson | August 21, 2012 at 05:48 AM
As a papercrafter with that loot there is so much I could do: I would definitely start a mixed media art journal. I would use one of the pocket watches to put in my little shells and a bit of sand from my Aruba trip and make into a home decor item with a photo of my hubby and me during the trip. I would definitely make some cards and scrapbook pages. I would also use some of the items in future mini-albums. And the list can go on and on and on....
