Put a flower on it, add a bird to it and you've got one really cool framed piece.
Today's TTV we show how to make this flower in the box. The box is actually a class we are doing and you're only seeing one side of the box. The other is a surprise.
Since everyone loves flowers, I like to put my own spin only done with metal. This is so easy to do and you will be putting flowers on everything only they'll be Kick-Ass flowers.
Watch the video and make a comment here and you'll get what we mention on the video. I love mine and use it on all sorts of things. I can't believe it's July already and Christmas stuff is in the stores.
What a relief! You did make a .....video!!!!
Loved it. I am also a great flower and birdie fan.
Cheryl, you are an amazing artist!
Thank you for sharing.
I wish I could attend your workshops, I would have such a blast!
If you ever come to Chattanooga (TN) I will be there!

There was never a doubt you would still be making videos. After all it's just a name and you girls could call it "Shit I have in my head" and I would still watch it. Love the flower and I'm with ya Cheryl I hate flowers but those are tooooo cool. Why does everyone make the same stupid brown flower. What's wrong with bright flowers that are different????

Love the "VIDEO" and of course the flowers. Sometimes the simplest things have the greatest impact. You gals are just so cool. Keep those videos coming.

That flower was PERFECT!!! Exactly what I needed for a page I was stuck on in my book from my recent vacation. Needed something to put my pics in, CUZ I'VE BEEN TO SPAIN, too! Haven't stopped eating olives yet and can't stop thinking about that matadors very fine behind.

The flowers are just too cool!! I'll make some tonight! The blue one really did look great on Megan's black shirt... the pinback is a good idea too. See?? That's why I love your videos... the ideas and techniques you share are awesome! I know I thank y'all over and over, but I'm just so dern appreciative of all the inspiration you two provide. I'll use these little metal flowers embellish my stamped cards too. The hammer would work great for anti-frustration levels... once in a while on some days I think I need a sledge hammer though...LOL! (Had some dark chocolate today instead of the old suggested food - yay!)

What a freaking cool idea!! I have replaced t@*%s with cocktails.

The flower is "smashing" and very appropriate.
PS - you have to remove TT Videos from your typepad blog page, upper right corner.

Hi Everyone,
I know I've got the name in several spots and we are removing them. Unfortunately, my webmaster is in the hospital right now and this is not a top priority in her life. It will be changed. It's hard even for us to stop calling them that name. Thanks for your concern and reminders.

I don't know if everyone realizes what value your company brings to these videos. Every site I go to has something to sell either in classes or kits. Your videos have been free every week, and informative. I've started going back to watch some of the older ones and I'm going to get them on video so I can watch and I don't have to wait for the computer to catch up. I have an old one and it takes longer to watch that way. Keep doing them and I'll keep watching them.

I am so sorry to hear about the changes that are HAVING to be made. But I have faith that yall will come out ahead! And whoever those idiots are that are doing this to yall need to remember that karmas a real bitch! Keep your heads up and thank you for continuing to make those crazy entertaining inspiring videos especially like the one you made today like the upgrade on the flower technique much better, the other one to me just looked like crumpled metal stomped on (sorry just my opinion)! Well girls keeping on keeping on, see you next week!

Nicely done ladies! Love the flowers 2.0. They really are cute and love that hammer. Thanks for another lesson in metalizing my world!

Great flower.... um... tutorial :) Thank you!
I wouldn't have realized the great petal design being formed under the hammered metal. Love the idea and love that little hammer too!

I make paper rosettes all the time. It will be great to do them in metal. Like you say life is ten seconds long and this too shall pass. It is good to change your diet every now and then.

I'm always amazed at what you two come up with for "innovative" ideas. They say that imitation is the highest compliment you can give...unfortunately not always true! Is that how the smashing flower came about? LOL Thanks for all the inspiration on this weeks "video".

Cool flower, great hammer, lovely box. When do we get to see the other side? Next week's video? The side we see now is fantastic. If I am going to wear a T-shirt that says something, I want words or design on the front and back. How great to do a box that way.

Ok, I HAVE seen branches in our stamp store for sale. And I giggle (yes that's me over there in the store giggling to myself. Luckily everyone knows me and just gives me a wide berth...) over who in their right minds would ever BUY STICKS?!!!! For cryin out loud....
Love the flower... and I noticed you didn't SAY WHERE you got the bird!! And YAY for THA VIDEO!!!! PERSEVERANCE PREVAILS!!!

Great video! So glad those don't have to stop. Your rose is wonderful. Love how you can make something so lovely from hitting with a hammer. I wonder how Tim Holtz's texture hammer would work on the metal. Might have to try that today. Thanks for all you do!

Wow, thanks - another great technique and 'video'. I can always incorporate your techniques to my scrapbooking!

Great idea! Love it! Is there any way you could explain to us what is the big deal with using the name Taco Tuesday? Is there another company or restaurant that uses that name? What is the big problem? I think it's fantastic!

If I had a hammer, I'd hammer out some flowers...I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer in the evening, I would just freaking hammer all day long. Love this week's video, and love you guys...nice come back...keep up the AWESOME entertaining videos. Now I am going to eat some Italian food, not the other stuff.
Regards,
Pat

OMG, I love that flower and birdie in the box. That looks like the coolest thing you've done in a cute way. I really like the color on the box. Can't wait to see how you did that. Is it a class?

I just watched your Folded Flower video and love what you did with the metal strip, folding and hammering the strip into a pretty flower - looks like a rose to me. I really want to try it and I have the metal sheets in different colors to make a pretty picture. I can picture three or four different colored flowers in a row. Thank you for teaching me a new technique and something that will be great to embellish my wallhangings. Keep the videos coming!!

Y'all crack me up! I need one of those hammers to take to work with me. It would get rid of my frustrations and get even with some annoying people. Just FYI, I'll never eat t*#%s on the third day of the week again! I love the project and hope I can do the class. Would you consider doing them on another night? I work late on Mondays and Wednesdays. :-(

I just found your videos today and I LOVE them! All afternoon and evening kinda disappeared while I was watching several of them... The interaction between the two of you is great and I really like that they are not "directed" or "perfect". It feels like you're at my place telling me about your products and if anything unexpected happens, so be it. Best videos ever! I'll make sure to follow the blog! Thanks for all inspiration!
P.S I had so much fun today trying out several of your tools :-)
