On today's TTV Jeanette Wilson shows how to cut out metal on a Cricut using a Mickey Mouse design. We shot this video when I was out on the east coast for Art on a Limb. Jeanette has been cutting a lot of metal using her Cricut and wanted to share her tips and what's nice, you don't need to buy any special blades or mats for this technique. You can use everything that comes with your machine.
In this layout Jeanette cut everything with her Cricut that is done in metal. Jeanette, thanks again for bringing your book and showing us how to cut on metal. I really appreciate it.
Remember everyone, you've got 10 days left to purchase tickets for our Breast Cancer Canvas Raffle. We hope you'll take $20 to purchase 20 chances for this worthy cause. She didn't specifically mention, but in watching the video, it looked like she had a speed setting of 3 and a pressure setting of 4 along with the blade at 6. Any way to verify those settings? I'm sitting her staring at my Cricut seeing a whole new world of possibility opening up. Thanks for the video!!! Got to go try it now.

Not only Mickey but so so so much more! Loved the Album! I wish I was that creative when I get bored. You did an amazing Taco Tuesday and I love the little giraffes in your shadow box. Also loves the wrapped metal around the letters. You are just wonder woman with metal and the cricut. YEAH!!!!!

Jeanette Wilson is very inspiring. She is a true metal artison. She spoke with comfort about the craft of metal cutting with a Cricut, and she seemed to enjoy sharing her ideas...which I think is another characteristic of a person truly knowledgable in a certain field...Thanks Janette for your tutorial and for the inspiration you have generated in the world of scrapbook metal crafting...I sure do want to give it a try, now...PeggyAnne

Jeannette - as nervous as you were before filming this video, you'd never know it!! You looked and sounded like a pro! Great job and your stuff is fabulous. Ladies, if you think it looks cool on the blog, you should see it in person.
