Today's video is a little different from what we've done in the past. Watch it, let us know what you think and if we pick you as this week's winner...
you
will
win
a
visit
from
one of us to shoot a future TT video in your home. Just be careful when you hear your doorbell, you never know who's on the other side! You also have to mention where you live in your comment.
that is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time! please tell me its true! please come visit!. I live in new jersey. you could visit me and see Atlantic city all in one afternoon. I am struggling my way thru learning metal embossing with the big shot . Its not as easy as you think! lyle

Crap, I can't win. Then I'd have to keep my house clean in anticipation. Great video!

Laughing....
Still laughing....
*GASP*
STILL laughing...
I love this! It made my day and I haven't even had my coffee yet!

OH MA GAWD BECKY!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? That video is over the edge..and so are you and Lolly! Pick me! Pick me! (and if it's a little later in the season, you can use the pool while you're here...I have a pool boy, too..his name is "Dear Husband, Denis") We could play with that paint and glue technique!!! I live in North Central Pennsylvania on the NYS border and I'd also take you to the Corning glass museum and you could pick up some Corelle dishes while you're here! LOL
Posted by: Ruth Ann Landry | April 13, 2010 at 06:28 AM
Hahaharharharharhar harharharhar!!! My end of the world has cactus in the driveway ... its beautiful too .... I have a gorgeous view of Camelback Mountain out my crafting room window. I can gather an audience of other crafters ... it would be like QVC!!! Hurry, while its still spring!
Posted by: sharon m | April 13, 2010 at 06:42 AM
Too funny! You could stop by here when you are at CHA Chicago as I live outside of the city. You could even bring me some of your new product and film us using it! LOL. Sorry my house is not as fab as the one in the video! But I do have a craft room.
Posted by: Debby | April 13, 2010 at 07:08 AM
Seriously!!!!! No really... seriously?? The lady was working with YOUR medal and had no stinking clue who you were??!!! NOW THAT is a scream!!! You will NEVER hear the end of that one from Megan!!
As far as coming to Nebraska... I know that will never happen, I mean really what do we have here??? Cornfields, the Huskers, the Zoo... Ohhhh my!! But we could have some fun junk'n!! Love the new twist on the video!!
Posted by: Lisa | April 13, 2010 at 07:12 AM
Oh, that was hilarious. Was wishing you were in VA instead of MD! What a shock those ladies were in for. My crafting space isn't anywhere near as organized as Sharon's. I would be put to shame if you showed up at my door step ;) Ha!
Posted by: DeannaC | April 13, 2010 at 07:19 AM
Okay. I'll not tell your secret, Lolly, as long as you DON'T choose me! Nobody comes into my mess - nobody! I've been crafting in Maryland for eleven years, and it's been years since my husband has dared to go in my basement. I'm not sure if he's afraid of the laundry room or my mess - but whatever! It works. He'll never find all the metal and molds and tools and . . . and receipts from the Queen's Ink! BTW - Lolly gave us bad press. If you are worrying about getting shot - that's Virginia!
Posted by: Bonnie Belk | April 13, 2010 at 07:21 AM
Ok I'm in. I KNOW you won't come to Alaska, but I would love to play with you again. I might even be able to schedule a garbage bear sighting. ; )
Posted by: geezee | April 13, 2010 at 07:58 AM
BTW my brain was so goofed up I forgot to tell you that you did a great job of making it sound like it wasn't a setup. Extended privileges????
Posted by: geezee | April 13, 2010 at 08:02 AM
Just wanted you to know I loved the video - the meat of it was great but the end had me laughing 'til I almost peed. That was classic! I'm never home, so if you came to my house you'd be crafting alone, but as long as you leave me some inspiration I'd be okay with that!
Posted by: Cindy in Nebraska | April 13, 2010 at 08:08 AM
I live in PA right outside of Philly. I make great tacos. We can go get a cheesesteak. If Megan brings her pole all my friends would want lessons. I have a craft room. I have a camcorder. My kids need a grandmom. I have a dog and a cat. What ever you need , I'll make my DH go get it!
Posted by: Tiffany Robbins | April 13, 2010 at 09:04 AM
OK, I've spent the last three months TOTALLY redoing my studio. I think that automatically qualifies me for selection as the star of the next TT video. And I won't cheese out with suckers--how about steak on the grill and martinis poolside? (just come when it's warm).
Posted by: Stamperino | April 13, 2010 at 09:40 AM
Too funny! If you're in Illinois, you can stop by. My studio is a room out in our machine shed...and I have a black lab...
Posted by: Lori | April 13, 2010 at 09:58 AM
love this idea...it's like door knock crafters...so you can totally come to my home in NC (and you will be in the state in May..hint hint hint hint) and I could make sure hubby is wearing his sext Marine Blues for you (gotta love a man in uniform:)

I'd like to woo you with song....In the theme from "The Monkees" written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart [Susan's version] :
Here they come,
Driving to Lorain, Ohio.
They get the funniest looks when,
They fill up at Sohio!!!
Hey Hey It's Megan and Cheryl!
Comin' all the way to my town.
And they're too busy drivin',
Nothin's gonna slow them down!
They go wherever they want to,
Pimpin' molds and all of their metal.
They don't have time to slow down now,
They're puttin' their feet to the pedal!
Hey Hey It's Megan and Cheryl!
Comin' all the way to my town.
And they're too busy drivin',
Nothin's gonna slow them down!
Hey Hey we're Megan and Cheryl,
You never know where we may roam.
So you'd better have your metal all ready,
Cuz we might show up at your home!!!
Also...Another song to woo you to the tune of "Over the River and Through the Woods" by Lydia Maria Child...[Susan's version] :
Over the highways and putting on miles,
To Lorain, Ohio they go,
The GPS maps the way,
To make your day,
To see what I have to show, OH!
Over the highways and putting on miles,
Oh how I wish you could know,
I've spent lots of dough,
As my bank account shows,
But that's the way it goes, OHs!
Over the highways and putting on miles,
To have a show and tell.
I hope you make hay,
And leave right away,
Hurray for this wonderful Day-ay!
Over the highways and putting on miles,
I'll have tacos for you to eat.
So please come to Ohio,
And stay a while,
For this would be so neat!!!
OK Girls...Loved your Taco Tuesday video in Maryland!!! Love that studio too!
I sincerely invite you to come visit my mixed media studio and see my creations...Metal and much much more!!!
(My Hungarian Mom will cook you anything you want...sincerely...you'll take home lots of goodies for the road trip back to TX! This is not a bribe...That's just the way it is at our house!!!]
Hope to see you!!!

That was GREAT! I love the room and her cards rocked! If you are in the Tampa, FL area, I would love to have you guys. Although, I am new to metal art, so I think it would be AWSOME if you taught a lesson from my craft room (which by the way is also my "cutting room" really a separate cutting room - must be nice).
Having you show me what to do with your amazing product would be AMAZING (you can even bring Megan IF you want. JK Megan I love you guys together, you remind me of me & my daughter). Also, not only would I know who both of you are, my hubby would too because I make him watch some of the shows cause they make me laugh so hard.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come to FL!!!!!!
Posted by: Kim-Florida | April 13, 2010 at 10:43 AM
That was terrific. I wish I had a two story craft room. How wonderful is that!! I live in the thumb area of Michigan about an hour north of Detroit. You are welcome to visit my mess anytime. But now I quess I'll have to do some organizing. I mostly collect supplies. Bring your favorite husband and they can tour my husbands pole barn.

What a hoot! Come on by anytime - I recommend however you avoid Phoenix in July & August. BUT, the rest of the year...like JANUARY - the only place to craft! Guaranteed laughs and hospitality - LOVE LOVE you guys!
Posted by: Twyla Marti | April 13, 2010 at 01:28 PM
Would love a visit if you're up for a drive into the rural plains of Saskatchewan Canada MUWHAHAHAHAHAHA
This cracked me up to no end. Love it and love the idea. Cheers to TENseconds

OMG - WTG are you gonna come up with next? How hilarious was this? Deal is this - if I win you get to come to Mom's house in North Central PA on the NY border. My house is trashed - too many remodel projects going on! My craft corner is in the kids' toyroom/hubby's sports room and it's trashed in here!! Of course, if I have to play by the rules, we can certainly work something out!
Posted by: Dani Larcom | April 13, 2010 at 02:04 PM
A hoot is way to mild to describe the video. What chutzpah and Sharon was great to bring y'all in to her craft rooms. The guy at the 2nd house just doesn't know what a fun pair he missed.
You gals Rock.
Posted by: Sharon L-S | April 13, 2010 at 02:22 PM
HOT S*&%! Count me in!! I live right down the street but I would love to have the great megan and cheryl do a video of my craft room. I just got in all the TSS product and I can show you what I've done so far with metal!!!!! Plus, I'll even take you out for lunch!!!!
Posted by: Helen | April 13, 2010 at 02:34 PM
Florida is great this time of year! Think I would need lots of notice, though things are a wreck in my craft/guest room! A fun video idea...
Posted by: Florida Nancy | April 13, 2010 at 03:03 PM
loved the video. would love to see the cards or items these crafter have made online.
know you won't come to my home...its way over in TX, a small place where the Cowboys have a new home.
Posted by: maxine | April 13, 2010 at 04:32 PM
U R A NUT ! You are more than welcome to visit my Florida craproom but you can't get more than half a person at a time in there.
Posted by: Connie | April 13, 2010 at 07:24 PM
I also loved the video!!! In my wildest dream ever I see you heading out to western Ks. - amidst the sunflowers dancing in the breeze. "There's no place like home". If I knew in advance I could gather the stamping/scrapbooking gang and throw a party. Bring lots of supplies cuz these gals love to learn something new. I hope to get them all hooked on your cool metal. I know I am and I've only just begun. (I loved the cards shown in the video also - I knew I needed that mold too!!) Gotta go - need to place an order.... Artsy M - Hill City

P.S. I do have a craft room in my basement called "The Paint Pit Studio". (I also do watercolor.) Artsy M

You have more chutzpah than the law allows! Ha ha Love the world seen through your eyes. I met you at the little scrap show in Grapevine and didn't have a clue who you were, but immediately went home and looked at your website and fell in love with you and Megan and all things metal. Believe me, next time I see you I will give you the royal curtsy you deserve for your creativity. It's not just the great ideas, it's your personality that makes the videos so great. My space is cluttered and messy and overflowing with "stuff" but would love to see you at my front door! Thanks for the laughs. Keep 'em coming.
Posted by: Sharron Higgins | April 14, 2010 at 04:57 AM
No, no, no, no, NO. I do not even tell my family where I live, so "drive by" filming would never be allowed. But this was pretty funny - too bad the house was such a dump!

ROFLOL!!!! You are too FUNNY Cheryl!!! What a FUN video!! lol I know I love when I look down at the package on my porch and see it's from Megan Darrow HEE HEE You doing a video here in Southeast Texas would be FABULOUS...but doubt you could fit a camera into my overstuffed studio :)
OH WOW...that pile of cards she just happened to have lying there with all your FABULOUS metal and molds...are GORGEOUS!!! :)
Posted by: Angie Hall Haviland | April 14, 2010 at 07:12 AM
I don't have a craft room, I have a dump room. Everything that is cleaned out from the rest of the house gets dumped in my creative space. I have been saying I will get it organized since we moved in ten years ago!!!Maybe if you pick me it will get me moving to ... another house....I mean to clean up.Grapevine is real close too, no travel expenses.
Posted by: Carol J. Johnson | April 14, 2010 at 09:44 AM
Well that was a hoot!
So when are you driving up to the nation's capital. Not your nation; mine. I am up in Canada......(and we haven't had snow in weeks!)
Posted by: Monica Lore | April 14, 2010 at 10:27 AM
If you showed up on my front porch, I'd have to excuse myself to go change my underwear. Otherwise, if you called first, I'd put you on hold so I could clean my house and make a path to my workroom. Otherwise, you're welcome anytime.

Posted by: Janene | April 14, 2010 at 10:39 AM
I like that they worked with 'some metal'... HAHAHAHAHA!!
I'm just down the road in SAn Antonio, and have one sheet of metal, and two tiny molds... but, I have a bunch of other stuff... nothing near what the ladies worked in. I have a table. That's it. But it's MY table and I LOVE it!!!

Wait... there is another Lolly out there????
I cannot believe that video! What are the odds!!!
I live in Bedford (right down the road from you) and have two craft rooms.. you guys are welcome ANYTIME!!!!

Was that a See's Candy sucker from California? That's where I'm from which is wayyyy far away from where you two are! Your video was sooo funny and gave me some new ideas to use with my cards and Dee' Gruenig's Posh Impressions rubber stamps:) I watch your videos usually late at night which always puts me in a good mood before I go to bed!I have tons of your goodies and love everyone.Thank you for your entertaining shows:)

Honest to God, that visit wasn't planned? I can't believe you found those gals in the middle of a metal play time!! I live in sunny Arizona and it would sure be fun to have you visit. Course, you might have to sit on my patio for a "few" minutes while I clear up my messes! Drinks and food are always on here!
Posted by: Ce Strike | April 14, 2010 at 10:51 AM
Hysterical! OMG can you just imagine?
I would recognize you Cheryl!!! Every week, it just keeps getting better!
Well I am just going to have to start taking a shower RIGHT AWAY in the morning, JUST in case YOU show up at my door.
I can't wait to see follow ups of this escapade!
I have to go clean up my studio. That womens space was A M A Z I N G... And a cabana boy with 'privledges'... I have liquor Cheryl. Best I can do....

I LOVED this video, it totally cracked me up! Well, I live in Holland, so if you ever fly across the ocean, you're welcome in Delfzijl!
Posted by: Linda van Vliet | April 14, 2010 at 10:58 AM
I just want that Motherless Megan who owns Ten Second Studio to come ... ;-) great video - as always. I'd love to have you come to my house - but I craft all over my house and wouldn't sign a release for a video! I need to be on the craft hoarders reality show. Well - no not really - I'm fine with it. I'd rather be making stuff than cleaning!
Posted by: Barb Hiles | April 14, 2010 at 10:59 AM
I have never responded to a blog before, but that was totally hysterical! You rock. I love that you just walked up to the door and rang the bell.... I am so like that and worry all my family and friends that I will be mugged or worse. Love love you products too! Keep em coming....love connie

Brilliant! This was fresh, clever and hilarious.
Come to beautiful Vermilion, OH. I'm just a beginner with the metal, but you're welcome to come over any time!
Posted by: Cynthia White | April 14, 2010 at 11:22 AM
This could be better than Publisher's Clearing House ringing the doorbell...LOL
Posted by: Jan D. | April 14, 2010 at 11:34 AM
Have you ever thought of going door to door witnessing with metal?? You could tell people all about the A-Z Metal Bible and then convert them by offering the free DVD! I would help you do a TV commercial that has an 800 number where order takers are standing by if you call RIGHT NOW. And then you can even throw in some suckers for free... IF THEY ACT RIGHT NOW! ;) I have already converted a few people to metal... and I didn't have to wear a tie and carry a briefcase :) Hugs! Florida is where it's at... right near the ocean.. Pina Coladas on me. :)
Posted by: Rose Herczeg | April 14, 2010 at 11:51 AM
OMGosh! Do it again... I want more! - What are the chances-how funny and spectacular is that?!? Better start carrying a stun gun or pepper spray with you (in case you run into that guy again)! How could they not know you-- Megan, I can't believe you didn't talk about Cheryl in your class with these ladies, AND, you'd better push Taco Tuesday's more! Nobody should miss those! You're welcome into my home and "crafts room" ANY TIME, but it's a small leap to Austin, TX, (while here you'd better check out Ester's Follies too).
LOVE the dragon files on the beautiful bright new pink/purple metal color!
