Well it's amazing what happens when you take a little vacaa...ok, a long vacaa from posting on the blog. Everyone starts emailing you asking "what happened? Are you dead? Are you still in business? When are you going to post more videos!?!?!?!?"
Well we are not dead, we are still in business and you've got a new video today. I just decided to take the holidays off from posting on the blog and doing videos. We've done so many videos, that I just needed a day off which turned into two months. What can I say?
We went to CHA and walked the show. It was fun getting outta Texas and relaxing by the ocean.
CHA wasn't at the ocean but we were. The most astounding new thing we saw and heard about at CHA is this new craft called....drum roll please...."mixed media." I know, who knew. I would claim that I invented it, but other bigger companies have already jumped on that title.
I think I'll go with the title of Queen of Calm or better yet Queen of Gazin'.
Today's Video is all about Mixed Media or mixed mess which ever floats your boat.
We are doing Washi Tape with our unique twist to it of course.
Now I know a lot of you are thinking, "but I buy washi tape." Well girls, you can do that but you can also make this stuff using our VerDay Paints.
or, you can die cut it...
that's right the tape will go right on top of any die and then you can cut through it.
then turn it into a cool VerDay tag, notice I left a little of the blue tape come through.
and then
turned it
into a
cool card for my dear hubby for Valentine's Day.
Using one of new Die's from AccuCut (ticket die) as the cover that is VerDay.
I swear I would VerDay Ken if he would stand still.
This video is PG13. If you are offended easily please do not watch.

Welcome back, hope your batteries are recharged! Who knew mixed media was so new!!!

Bahahaha I'm SO glad you're back! The ending is perfect. As usual, I learned something cool AND actually laughed out loud. At 11:00 pm. While the house *was* quiet. You two RULE! xx

When people ask why I don't speak on my videos, I'm going to refer them to this one!

In the old days, when stessed about a lot of commotion going on at our house, I put my hands out and said UMMMMMMMMMM. Like escaping to zen land. NOW I say Washi, Washi, Washi and ripe up masking tape. Thanks for this wonderful therapy since my "moments" are now so productive - I stick the shreds down, paint them and end up with shabbi washi, saving money and having a brand new product to use!
