Everyone knows I collect all sorts of "stuff" and one of my favorites are wine corks. I look at it as recycling. Today we show you how easy it is to turn the simple cork into a fabulous piece of jewelry with our VerDay Paints.
Post a comment here or on facebook and I'll pick a winner to win the necklace shown on Tuesday (11-6-2012) These ideas make great gifts and what better way to say "I care" than "I made it myself!"

OMG I love it. Great idea as usual and I hope I win.

Yes Yes Yes! I need to open my bottles already. Have had them since June ... don't know why, but I'm intimidated by this stuff. MUST give it a try!

Very nice video! Much better than making trivets with those corks. I will have to start saving corks again, not that I have an endless supply.
Thank you!

You two have the greatest ideas and are always sharing them with us. I love this idea and do have some corks around the house. I'm going to try and make some myself. I have used those paints and I am ver daying everything I get my hands on. I would love to win your necklace and have something that you created.

Sister-in-law needs one, as well as myself. DH can help by drilling the hole. I am eager to get started on this project. Thanks for the great gift idea.

Wow -- one good thing about living in France: no lack of wine corks! And we can even still find "the real thing" and not these modern plastic-y things!!!! Lovely idea for bead-making!
Greetings from France - Sally
