I love mailboxes and have quite a few in my collection. Megan and I made a trip to our favorite home improvement store and bought a bunch of stuff to paint. One of the things was, of course, a mailbox.
On today's video I show how easy it is to paint. We did this video over a week and when we were spraying it with primer we were about two hours away from the tornados that came through our area last week. In fact after I sprayed the primer on the heaven's opened up and dumped water all over the backyard of the studio. Luckily the box was dry...kinda! To say that was a cluster____ would be an understatement.
Enjoy our project and be sure to post a comment and on Friday I'll pick a winner who will get our fab creation.

Wow, great mailbox, love it. Glad that it was dry in time;-)
Always makes me smile watching your videos!

I would use it for an indoor mail box. Do you get hazardous duty pay? Not the time to be painting outside. Yikes! Now I remember why I use a huge cardboard box in which to spray paint.

I just KNOW that if I'm feeling down, I can watch one of your videos and be instantly convulsed in laughter.... You gals are artsy-talented for sure, but I think your true calling is making people laugh. A real gift. Thanks for all you do!
One of my best "tools" for spray painting is the old lazy susan I bought at a yard sale. Works great for painting all sides and not being downwind....
Oh yeah--love the mailbox!
