Today is my last Wednesday project as the Ten Seconds Studio Guest Designer for the month of April. I have really enjoyed using the Ten Seconds Studio products in creating these projects and look forward to using them in the future.
Today’s project is a canvas that I made using some of the flowers that I made for last weeks project. I once again chose Graphic 45 papers and built my canvas around those and embellished with Ideology products. I apologize for the quality of the photographs but I couldn’t seem to get the lighting right to get the flowers the more copper color without washing out everything. They just had to be red for some reason so everything is warmer!
The canvas is an 8x8” canvas covered with paper from the Once Upon a Springtime collection from Graphic 45. I love the postcard and vintage feel of the paper and it fit well with my theme.
Another picture of the metal/paper flowers that I stacked on top of some paper flowers that I sprayed a peachy color to match up with the copper.
I love the way the butterflies turned out today. I cut them out of the copper and embossed them before adding that patina. Each one seemed to turn out a little different some turned more green than another one.
Thank you Vickie for creating some really cool projects this month. Megan and I really appreciate your work and that you got everything to us in a timely manner.
Where did Tuesday go? We shot a video for Tuesday but the day just got away from us so it may become more of a "sometime this week video". Have patience because Megan will get it done sometime this week. We've been working hard getting all the orders out for the VerDay Paints and copper metal. People seem to be going nuts with the video ideas and working with those paints. We just got in another shipment so if you were waiting, the paints are instock.
