We are having the time of our life playing with our new paints. Today's video show's the process for these paints. This simple two step process will breath new life into your art or crafting projects.
We were rushing to get this video up last night and had to cut a little off at the end where we show you some samples. So below is the birdhouse.
I've painted the birdhouse with copper and iron paint. Then I sponged on the copper and sprayed the roof...let it dry. Then sponged on the iron and sprayed the house part and let it dry. In the background you can see a plastic frame in the iron/rust and bronze/green. I think this shows the versatility of this product and how you can do much larger surfaces if needed.
This wood frame shows how vibrant the rust looks on the iron paint.
We're getting this up on the website hopefully today, but I have to say that since last week's posting, we have been slammed with calls and preorders.
Hope you love this look as much as I do. Make a comment on this blog posting and someone will get to win this frame.
This month is going way too fast. Megan and I seem to be on hyper-drive trying to get everything done. Tuesday's posting is now Wednesday's posting, my theory is better late than never. I'm getting ready for my trip to Arizona next week. Most of the classes are sold out at Paper, Metal and Scrap Happy Sisters. Frenzy Stamper still has a couple of openings left. I'm so looking forward to the warmth of Arizona and the Bead Show at the end of the month.

This paint just looks so cool! I can't wait to get some to play with too...really loving that little birdhouse ya'll did!

I think somehow you can use the VerDay with stamps and make some interesting patterns on a frame, chipboard, etc. It's giving me ideas - that can be dangerous!

The frame is devine, and it has "mine" written all over it! It's fabulous! I went to the dentist and came back and you were all sold out of the paints, whaaaaaaaaaaa. I need to get on the list!

Dear mom,
You taught me a lot of really good stuff, but I have to write to tell you that this "be patient and wait your turn" business is pure crap in today's world. I saw the announcement on Facebook, and I think I left the first comment. Then I waited, and I lost my turn. But I was a good girl. I got in line, and I know my turn will come. In due time. Whenever. Someday. WHATEVER!!!!! But you were right about something else. Whining is unbecoming and gets you nowhere.
luv,
me

I cannot wait to get my hands on this. I bought an antique frame at a garage sale for $1. I've painted the thing about 4 times and couldn't get the look I wanted. I believe the copper and verde will give me what I've been looking for! I am so excited. Love y'all!

GOURDS! It will look great on gourds!!! And i wont be able to live until i have some verday paint!

This Ver-Day paint can be used in different crafts, and it can also be used by experimental painters out there. What you did with the color on the roof of the bird house made it look quite antique. It gave out the appearance of rust, which brought out a vintage look. Hmmmm.. I can definitely get creative with this.
