If you haven't gotten on the Gelli Art Printing Plate bandwagon, well you're missing the boat.
These printing plates are so cool to create all sorts of backgrounds, transparencies, decorative tags and envelopes or transferring images from molds onto paper.
We shot a quick youtube video this week for everyone to watch for our Tuesday Video. This is just a taste of what you can do with the Gelli Art Printing Plates, we will have an online class available next year showing all sorts of cool ideas that can be done with these plates, our metal and molds.
A little less than two weeks to Christmas and I hope everyone is enjoying the season as much as we are.
My folks are amazing me each day when I come out and listen to some of the crazy things they say. I mentioned to my mom the other day that they may want to go and check out the senior center in our town so they could make new friends and fill their days with something other than hanging out in Walmart. My mom put her hands on her hips and said in her best 'she knows everything and I know squat,' "Cheryl, we are not old enough to go to a senior center and hang out with all those old people." Who knows, maybe she's right.

Your stories about your parents makes me smile everytime:-)) Great technique you showed on the quick video!

My mom will be 80 in less than a month and she is still extremely active, gardening all day, throwing around 40-50# bags of stuff out in the yard when she was here. She just moved to Arizona and is doing the same thing out there. I have a feeling she is going to be around for many, many years to come!! Thank goodness!

I actually LOVE to hang out at the Senior Center!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I do Meals~on~Wheels,
and those people are super nice, sweet, funny, kind, and looking for things to do..
I really enjoy them and their time... I have to admit, we loose a few of them, every so often and they are missed so much..
~Go hang out there, you'll be suprised at all the CRAFTERS that are there.... ;o)
And go volunteer!! You'd be suprised how good it feels at the end of the time spent there... AND I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Gelli Art stuff, super neat!!! That's on my wish list!!!
