I love items that can be given to men or women and this pencil holder is perfect for any desktop. I found it at the Home Store and it's made of bamboo. The concept can be done on any type of container and here we showcase BrrrBlue metal.
What's cool about this box is that it slides open to expand. I think it was about $10 but it was on sale so I got it for $5, hey that's the price of a foo-foo coffee and you can't beat that.
On our TTV we try and show how to use bits and pieces of all the different molds to do a simple collage of designs.
This consists of two pieces wrapped around each 1/2 of the box. Each strip is about 1" wide. I won't be giving this away as I'm giving it to my favorite hubby for Father's Day.
I used the same technique on this pencil holder that I purchased at my favorite place on Earth...Ikea.
Same technique only this has a cutout in the center of the wood. Post a comment to this blog and we will pick a winner on Friday and a lucky winner will receive this pencil holder.

You never fail to amaze me with your cre8tivity, I just adore both pencil holders. How effective the small strip of TSS metal is, you gals rock!

I like this technique too. Cool pencil holders for sure. The candle holder was cool too using stamping. Have to stamp more on my metal. Great job. Enjoy your time in Spain!

Love it!

Maybe that would hold my non-stick metal-cutting scissors and my humongous cut-anything retractable box cutter (with easily replaceable blade) and my paper (metal) stumps. Heck - I could probably even toss in a few rollers, wheels, and lining tools! I'll be darned!

It might not be the post that goes with the video, but I love the pencil holders! I love how a beautiful strip of Ten Seconds Studio metal and make a plain piece of wood just SHINE! Good job!

You never cease to amaze us. Others seem to do the same stuff over and over with the same tired flowers and birds but you and Megan are constantly looking for cool stuff to add your product to and it is so fresh and inspiring, plus it is not brown. I'm tired of everything being dark. Bring on the bright colors! I hope you'll post the dates of your next certification as I really want to attend this year.

Sure wish my crafting desk/table would expand as this pencil holder does. My work space seems to shrink instead. A definitely cool metal boost to the appearance of the pencil holder(s).

Love the two-fer taco tuesday! Great ideas for both the cool pencil holder write-up and the candle holder TTV. You're amazing to continuously come up with fresh ideas... thanks for sharing them!

I love the candle holder. It also reminded me of the Pope's hat!

Before I tell you how much I love the candle holder, I have one of those burning questions. Understand I'm new to the metal arts, so don't laugh me outta here...but what was that little pooper scooper thing we got in the last MM? I wasn't sure if it was a tool of some sort or a little scoop to embellish with metal. Now, I love the candle holder - very stylish and simple enough for me to do. Thanks for sharing your creativity!

You know it's kind of funny that you mention that Dijon is your favorite color. I bought some of it awhile ago, because you made that comment on a video then, and when it arrived I thought "yeah, that's nice," but put it away and used purple or something. Well this week I finally bought some of those crappy little birdhouses that I keep thinking might actually be cute with metal on them and when I got my stuff out, guess what color jumped out? Dijon and Barn Red. And of course I used the purple and peacock which I had envisioned in the store and they ARE nice but that Dijon is really, really kick ass. So the long of it is; Cheryl you are right, Dijon is the bomb and it is NOT mustard.

To answer Debbie who wanted to know what the little pooper scooper was in the package she got, well, it's a little scoop to metalize and wear or use in an art project. Or, if you have a tiny dog or a tiny cat you could use it to pick up tiny poops, but I've found that tiny animals don't necessarily have tiny poops. It's Friday morning as I read this in Gava Spain and I have to say that made my day. Off to drink coffee and have a croissant.

I am slowly working my way through ALL your videos. So crazy, so fun, so informative. Product question: Do both the filled tool kits TFHA and TFHB come with a case, or just the B version? My friend and I wanted to get all the tools (we just got the basic set in our class kit) and are trying to figure out the best way to do that. We each were hoping to get one case filled with all the tools. Would all the tools fit in one case? Thanks.

ok - for the ol' gals who can't remember last weeks video, not to mention the last time you...hugged your favorite husband with a decorative bamboo & metal-embelished box, i say hootspa! Hug 'em with your paint colored hands & arms, kiss 'em with your glitter-covered lips and most of all say THANKS for always being there.
